Guided Meditation with Michael Taft
The world of our perceptions is a fabrication of the mind. We do not perceive the external world directly, but rather through the inputs of our sense organs. This input is then assembled (i.e. fabricated) in the brain (based on memory, best-guesses, unconscious biases, etc.) and then projected into the conscious mind. Most nondual meditation practices focus on ways to notice this fabrication in liberating ways. In this video meditation, Michael Taft explores (and deconstructs) how the mind creates the sense that you are inside your head, and your head is inside the world—exactly the opposite of the point of view of the mind.
Guided meditation is about 55 minutes long.
Question and Answer period begins at 59:00
