Guided Meditation and Teaching by Michael Taft
In this guided nondual meditation, we allow awareness to observe itself very clearly. The clarity is heightened by the use of inquiry questions.
The meditation begins with focusing on motivation and rousing bodhicitta—in this case meaning confidence and compassion.
Next we do a combination of deep breathing, guided visualization, and mantra recitation (Om Mani Padme Hum) to concentrate and stabilize the mind.
Then we drop into the Natural Mind a rest their in bright, clear awareness.
In the second half of the meditation, we use inquiry questions to examine the nature of awareness more deeply.
After the meditation, Michael offers a dharma talk, and then answers questions from live viewers.
