Hello Michael thank you for your time. I have started engaging with your podcast and I am not the first to have trouble with getting beyond the self. In fact, I find myself rejecting the concept entirely. It seems to me that if this is all there is, the great cosmic joke, then doesn’t one need to be MORE selfish in this lifetime rather than less selfish. I have a friend who spent a year in India meditating and he recently told me he tries to be the MOST selfish person in the room. I wonder what your thoughts are in response.
